The Country Gospel Music Association has recently awarded Christi Mynatt the Silver Heart, Songwriter of the year
Christi is new to the Country Gospel Music Industry. She has only been writing and performing for three short years. For the last twenty-seven years, she focused on her family, caring for her husband and raising four children.
She is now rewarded with three grandchildren. Raised in church playing standard hymnals was her comfort zone, until her brother,Timothy Bush, (the musician) challenged her. Starting her with a few short lines, he asked her to work with them and within moments he showed her how a simple chord progression turned those lines into life!
Now writing music is her passion. Christi exposes her heart and soul in an amazing way. She is a great example how God can bring out a real talent in someone’s life that is willing to humble themselves before the throne of Grace. Christi has recently recorded her very first CD, “Give Your Heart To Jesus.”
This CD has a variety of sounds from Southern Country to some Contemporary. With none of them the same, each one of them brings out the testimony of Jesus Christ.
